The Hong Kong Auditory Neuroscience Lab is in the process of transitioning from the Department of Neuroscience of the City University of Hong Kong to the Gerald Choa Neuroscience Institute at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. It is led by Prof Jan Schnupp. We investigate the neural basis of auditory perception, using a wide range of techniques, from human and animal psychoacoustics and electrophysiology to brain imaging and work with cochlear implants. We are always looking for junior researchers who are interested in joining our team either as PhD students or as research assistants or postdocs.
